MISSION STATEMENT
Lead people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Teach believers the doctrines of the Holy Bible
We believe in the BIBLE to be the inspired Word of God.
We believe that there is ONE GOD, eternally existing in three persons: Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST; that Christ is the only begotten Son of God, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Christ died for our sins, was buried, and raised from the dead, that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor.
We believe that ALL HAVE SINNED and come short of the glory of God. And that repentance is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
We believe that JUSTIFICATION IS BY FAITH, and that regeneration or the new-birth through faith is in the blood of Christ is absolutely essential.
We believe in the SANCTIFICATION as subsequent to regeneration and is a definite act of grace; obtained by faith on the part of the fully justified believer.
We believe that the PENTECOSTAL BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AN ENDUEMENT OF POWER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE CLEAN HEARTS, and the initial evidence of the reception of this experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
We believe that the saved should receive WATER BAPTISM, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, as a testimony to the world that he has accepted
Christ as Savior and Lord.
We believe in DIVINE HEALING as provided in the Atonement.
We believe in the SACRAMENT OF THE LORD´S SUPPER as commemorating Christ’s death and anticipating His Second Coming. And feet washing.
We believe in the PERSONAL, PRE-MILLENIAL, SECOND COMING OF CHRIST; first, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to meet Him in the air; second, to reign with His saints on earth a thousand years.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of BOTH SAVED AND THE LOST; the saved to life eternal, and the lost to everlasting punishment.
Greetings
You will be greeted by both young and old as you enter Christian Life Fellowship’s doors. We are training our youth to have a place in the house of God as Greeters
Clapping of Hands
We believe and express worship and praise to God with clapping of hands.
(“O clap your hands all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” Psalm 47:1).
Lifting of Hands
“Thus I will bless thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in Thy name.” (Psalm 63:4)
“Lift up your hands in the Sanctuary and bless the lord.” (Psalm 134:2)
“I Will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (I Timothy 2:8)
Praise and Dancing
“And David danced before the Lord with all his might;… (II Samuel 6:14)
Audible Praise to God
“Bless the Lord, oh my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.” (Psalm 103:1)
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)
Singing Choruses and Hymns
“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:18-19)
Musical Instruments in Service
“Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; Praise Him upon thehigh sounding cymbals.” (Psalm 150: 3-5)
Anointing with Oil and Praying for the Sick
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of the faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up…”(James 5:14,15)
We believe tithing is a part of worship.
We express that with a shout of praise and clapping of our hands to God and giving a 10th of our income to God. (Malachi 3: 8 -10)
We believe in reading of the Holy Bible.
Scripture text will be read aloud and printed on the overhead for all to see.
“Blessed are they that readeth and they that hear the words of this prophecy”…(Revelation 1:3)
